    The Malawi Tourism Investment Forum will be held in London, United Kingdom on 3rd November, 2023 at the InterContinental London Park Lane. The Forum has been organised by the Malawi Ministry of Tourism in conjunction with the Malawi High Commission to the United Kingdom and will be hosted by the Minister of Tourism Honorable Vera Kamtukule.

    The main objective of the Forum is to create awareness and generate interest on the available opportunities for investment in the Tourism and Travel sector in Malawi. Specifically, the event is aimed at achieving the following objectives:

    1. To promote priority tourism investment projects in the National Tourism Investment Masterplan
    2. To promote Malawi as a tourism investment destination
    3. To service tourism investment enquiries 

    It is expected that the event will generate the desired interest for investment in Malawi in the medium to long term.

     

    According to the Malawi High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, Dr. Thomas Bisika, the Forum will not only assist to create awareness of the investment opportunities in the Tourism sector but also reposition Malawi as a preferred investment destination.
